Why Segullah Finds?
Pronounced (suh-goo-luh), which is Hebrew for “treasured possession”. I chose this name for my shop based on 1 Peter 2:19 NIV, “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” My soul delights in the fact that I am God’s special possession.
Being called God’s treasured possession inspires me. We are his treasure, and he calls us to a joy filled life. It won’t always be easy, but it can be beautiful if we allow it to be. I believe that a beautiful life includes creating a beautiful and comfortable space to call home.
I’m Alyson, founder of Segullah Finds, and I am on a mission to find treasured possessions for you to enjoy. I would consider my personal style to be a combination of vintage finds, art deco design, sleek modern pieces, colorful hues, and family photos. I love combining all of these things to create a homey space.
